The assembly has a housing formed of two metallic housing parts (2) and a diffuser (12) is arranged in the housing. The diffuser is fixed between the housing parts in an axial direction (X). The housing parts are directly or indirectly in metallic contact with one another in such a manner that a force transmission in the axial direction between the housing parts is effected via elements of metal.
