<p>PURPOSE:To reduce regeneration energy, by forming a membrane of a moisture absorbing solution and applying AC voltage equal to or less than water decomposing voltage to said membrane and flowing regenerating air along the surface of the membrane to expel the moisture transferred from the membrane to a gaseous phase to the outside of the system. CONSTITUTION:Wet air 4 is introduced into a dehumidifying tower 3 from the lower part thereof and moisture is absorbed by the moisture absorbing solution sprayed by nozzles 6. Dry air 7 flows out from the upper part of the tower 3. The moisture absorbing solution 9 having absorbed moisture is sent to a regeneration zone 20 and a rotary disc 22 is rotated to form the membrane of the moisture absorbing solution to the surface of the disc 22. When electrodes 23 are present in a gaseous phase side, AC voltage is applied to the electrodes 23 and a current is supplied to the membrane of the moisture absorbing solution present between the electrodes to regenerate the same. Regenerating air 24 is supplied in parallel to the rotary disc 22 and the moisture transferred to the gaseous phase by the supply of a current is accompanied by said regenerating air 24 to be made to flow out to the outside of the system as wet air 25.</p> |
