PURPOSE:To assure the capacity return by discharging a liquid refrigerant to the outside of a compressor when the compressor is started even if the liquid refrigerant exists in a crank chamber at the stop state of the compressor, and guiding a lubricant required for the capacity return from the clutch-less state into the crank chamber from an external refrigerant circuit. CONSTITUTION:A swash plate 13 is fitted reciprocatively tiltably in the longitudinal direction to a rotation supporter 9 fixed to a rotary shaft 4 via a hinge mechanism K1. An exciting spring 33 returning the swash plate 13 from 0 deg. to the tilt position and a spool 24 are provided on the rotary shaft 4. The center of gravity W of the swash plate 13 itself is displaced below the center axis O of the rotary shaft 4 by the first tilt angle changing means K3 changing the tilt angle of the swash plate 13 to 0 deg., and the swash plate 13 is returned from the tilt position to the 0 deg. position by the centrifugal force when the swash plate 13 is rotated for the transition to the clutch-less state. The swash plate 13 is temporarily held at the tilt position when a compressor is started, and the refrigerant gas containing a lubricant is fed into the compressor.
