PURPOSE:To surely sterilize the bacteria in a room in a simple manner, by utilizing the sterilization action of photocatalysts by attaching the photocatalysts on the wall surface forming the inside of the room and radiating light on the surface of the wall surface, when the inside of the room in which bateria float is sterilization-treated. CONSTITUTION:When the inside of a room in which bacteria float is sterilization-treated, photocatalysts are applied onto the surface of the wall surface forming the room inside, and the sterilization action of the photocatalyst is utilized by radiating the light on the surface of the wall surface, and the bacteria in the room are surely sterilized in a simple manner. Specifically, the wall surface of the room inside is formed from tiles 1, and the tile 1 is applied with titanium oxide as photocatalyst. As the light radiated on the photocatalyst, is used the common lighting for the room inside, e.g. a fluorescent lamp 2. Accordingly, the necessity of man's labor for disinfection is obviated, and the bacteria adhering onto the wall surface in the room can be sterilized. |
