<p>PURPOSE:To provide a footwear which does not absorb water and moisture during use, obviates the generation of fungi and pickup of injurious insects occurring in the water or moisture absorption, is comfortably usable, has the longest possible service life, is attached with a bandshaped holding sheet and auxiliary sheet on the rear surface of a surface base material to prevent peeling of these band-shaped bodies to pieces at the time of footwear production and improves the bond and stability of connecting yarn in sewing of a bottom plate and top plate. CONSTITUTION:Untreated raw material bamboos 2 are subjected to insectproof and mildewproof treatments by boiling, sterilizing and chemical dosing and are then dried. The dried bamboos are cut to prescribed dimensional width and length to form band bodies 3. Many pieces of these band bodies 3 are provided in array and are stitched by the connecting yarn 10 to form the bamboo blind-like surface base material 4. Coating layers 6 are formed on the front surface or both surfaces of such surface base material and the holding sheet 7 is stuck to the entire rear surface thereof. Further, the auxiliary sheet 8 is stuck to the entire front surface thereof to form the raw material 12 for the top plate A. This raw material is blanked to a prescribed footwear mold, by which the top plate A is molded.</p> |
