PURPOSE:To obtain a connector for coaxial cable, of which work is automated and of which working time is shortened remarkably, by arranging coaxial cables compact at a high density. CONSTITUTION:Signal contacts 30 arranged in parallel with each other with a predetermined pitch and grounding contacts 40, of which one end is unified with a grounding bar 43, are pinched between each half body 21, 22 of a housing 20, and they are fixed. A center conductor 51 and an external conductor 52 of each coaxial cable 50 are arranged in a flat plate conductor 61 and a barrel part 62 of a carrier strip 60. When the high-frequency heating is performed to an iron-nickel alloy layer formed in a carrier 64, solder layers formed in the flat plate part 61 and the barrel part 63 are melted to solder each center conductor 51 and external conductor 52 simultaneously. Thereafter, unnecessary parts 62 are eliminated. |
