PURPOSE: To recover reusable water as much as possible by using a feed additive and a backwash additive, neutralizing the backwash additive by the feed additive and washing away unused feed additive to make backwash fluid at the time of treating raw water. CONSTITUTION: The raw water is supplied to a feed tank or a feed bath 2 from a duct 1 and the feed additive such as active carbon powder is added thereto. Thereafter the water is pressurized by a pump P0 and is sent to a separation module 3. Then permeated water is sent to a permeated water collecting tank 5 and non-permeated water is returned to a module 3 by a recirculating pump P1. At the time of backwashing, the backwash additive such as chlorine is sent out from a tank 7 and backwash discharge water is sent to a tank 9, is allowed sufficient time to enable neutralization of the backwash additive by the feed additive to take place. Then the discharged water is sent to a mechanical separator 11 by a pump P4. Separated water is returned to the feed tank 2 and residue containing concentrated solid matter is sent to a collecting tank 14. |
