PURPOSE:To enable recognition of registered points within a fixed distance range from the present location appealing to acoustic sense. CONSTITUTION:An arbitrary point to be registered is assigned on a map called up onto a screen from a map information memory medium 5. In the process, a position data at the point assigned is given a sound data specified as desired to be registered into an auxiliary memory medium 12 and when the present location is within a fixed distance sphere from the point registered, the sound data is reported as sound thereby enabling the providing of information concerning a point registered by a user in safety without disturbing operation or the like. |
