PURPOSE:To provide a compact input device provided with a display function and having high operability by arranging a delete/cancel key to be used for both of a canceling function and a deleting function in accordance with a data processing state. CONSTITUTION:An input device 10 is provided with a delete/cancel key 33. When the key 33 is depressed in a state that 'KANA' (Japanese syllabary)/'KANJI' (Chinese character) conversion processing is not executed after inputting a character by a define key 20, the inputted character is deleted, and at the time of depressing the key 33 in the executed state of the 'KANA'/'KANJI' conversion processing, a converted 'KANJI' is returned to a 'KANA'. |
