PURPOSE: To provide a belt nest device which winds stacked thin amorphous steel strips around an arbor so as to make a transformer iron core. CONSTITUTION: A winder is provided with a belt 140, which is wound around an arbor and is movable along the length of the arbor to transmit rotating motion to the arbor, and means 200, 202, and 204, which successively send separate stack bodies to a space between the belt and the arbor. The winding equipment is also provided with means 200 and 209, which limit a first substantially flat plane that supports the stack body at the time of sending the stack body to the space between the belt and the arbor, a separate means 222, which limits a second substantially flat plane extended in parallel with the first flat plane, and a means 230, which biasedly presses one flat plane in the direction of the other flat plane when the stack body passes between the flat planes and compresses the stack body between the two flat planes at the time of winding the stack body. |
