PURPOSE: To facilitate and automate the successive treatment by carrying a liquid used for treatment along an electrophoretic medium. CONSTITUTION: The liquid in each treatment step is force-fed through an injection pipe 2, carried into a vessel 1 through the hole 6 of a ring piping 3, and carried out through a discharge pipe 4. Since the liquid is passed through the hole 6 of the piping 3 and carried into the vessel 1 by the pressure, it forms one flow. The liquid is introduced at a pressure of at least 60mb. Therefore, an electrophoretic medium is floatingly held in the liquid without being gathered to a grid 5. Thus, the mechanical movement of the electrophoretic medium every step of the following treatment is dispensedwith. The injection and discharge of the liquid are controlled by a proper control device, whereby they can be automated. |
