PURPOSE:To manufacture even a complicated large size transparent member easily excellently by a method wherein a transparent film is set between a male mold and a female mold, and after supplying thermoplastic resin when a cavity clearance in both molds is within a specific range, both molds are clamped. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing, a surface hardened layer-coated transparent film 3 is firstly set between a male mold 2 and a female mold 1. Then, clamping of the male mold 2 and the female mold 1 is started, and besides this mold clamping operation is once stopped, or a clamping speed is set to 300mm/sec or under. When a cavity clearance (a) between the male mold 2 and the female mold 1 is within a range of (C+0.1)-(C+7)mm under this state, thermoplastic transparent melt resin 4 is supplied between the transparent film 3 and the male mold 2 or the femal mold 1. (However, C is a cavity clearance when shaping is completed.). Thereafter, the male mold 2 and the femal mold 1 are clamped until the cavity clearance (C) is obtained, and the shaping is carried out thereby. |
