The mechanism consists of a piston (4) containing a nut (3) which enables the piston to travel along a threaded rod (2). The piston is equipped with rings (9) of a synthetic material, with a low friction coefficient. It is located inside a tube (1) which has an opening for a supporting axle (8) for a bar, covered with a supple material which goes under a person or object to be moved.The threaded rod is rotated by an electric motor with a reduction gear unit (7), capable of being powered by a car battery and equipped with an electronic control unit. The nut is made from a synthetic material which requires no lubrication.
