CLEANING AND INSPECTING DEVICE FOR ROAD LIGHTING FIXTURE

PURPOSE:To enhance the safety of a work and expedite the work by regulating the postures of a cleaning and inspecting device around X, Y-axes according to the inclination of a lighting pole at the time of positioning the cleaning and inspecting device so as to be held by the lighting pole. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning and inspecting device 1 is positioned near a lighting pole 2 by operating a multistage expansion boom, and the pole 2 is held by a pole holding device 11 by use of a position posture correcting device 8. The distance from the part holding the pole 2 to a lighting fixture 3 and the inclination of the lighting fixture 3 are measured by a position posture detecting device, and the standard position of a cleaning robot 12 is corrected by using a cleaning robot positioning device 13 according to the position information. A globe 14 is opened by the cooperative operation of the robot 12 and a globe support device 15, and a cleaning tool 17 is installed to the hand of the robot 12 to clean the inner surface of the lighting fixture 3. The globe 14 is then closed by the device 15, and the outside of the globe 14 is cleaned by the tool 17 in the hand of the robot 12.
