The camera is defined by a series of tubes (1), with light detection devices at one inner end and with their other ends open to the exterior. The width and angle of the optical field defined by the arrangement of tubes are controlled by variations in the spacing between their respective ends. The spacing between tubes may be controlled by an assembly of interlocking shafts or tubes (8), which may be manipulated to adjust the spacing between adjacent tubes. The tubes are inserted in, or defined by perforations in, a support plate of material whose reflectivity is controllable.
