The chassis (5) is supported on arms (7, 8) pivoted at the points (9, 10) and controlled by jacks (11) which can act on each arm independently to adjust the position of each wheel (3) relative to the chassis. The wheels are each linked to the arms by linkages (12, 13) sprung by torsion bars (14), permitting movement relative to the suspension arms.A central control panel controls the hydraulic system operating the jacks which can move the arms to level the vehicle when climbing or descending slopes and when moving across them.
