PURPOSE:To reduce the number of light distribution control sections, and prevent the generation of a glare. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting surface 2 is divided into two reflecting areas by a plane 6 inclined to the horizontal surface including the optical axis of a reflector 1. The basic surfaces of reflecting areas 3(1), 3(2) have a standard parabola within the plane 6 and are the aggregate (envelope) of cross lines obtained by cutting a virtual parabola having a second focus in the front or rear of its first focus F to an optional point on the orthogonal projection of the standard parabola to a horizontal plane by the vertical surface including its optical axis. The first focus F is situated in the center of a filament 7, the second focus G1 of the reflecting area 3(1) situated on the upper side of the plane 6 is situated near the rear end of the filament 7, and the second focus G2 of the reflecting area 3 (2) situated on the lower side of the plane 6 is positioned near the front end of the filament 7. |
