PURPOSE:To perform a job of sales in spite of the feasibility of communication between a terminal and a controller in a POS system in which the controller connected by a LAN line is combined with at least one terminal. CONSTITUTION:The controller 1 is coupled with at least one terminal 2 provided with an input device 5 and an output device 4 by the LAN line 3, and the terminal 2 operates the input device 5 and the output device 4 according to the instruction of the controller 1 via the LAN line 3 when the controller 1 and the LAN line 3 are set in an operable state, ane the terminal 2 performs a degeneracy operation independently from the controller 1 when the controller 1 or the LAN line 3 is set in an inoperable state. |
