PURPOSE:To accurately know the output state of a multiple selection signal by adding a simple fault detection circuit to the multiple input/output circuit system. CONSTITUTION:In a so-called multiplex input circuit grouping many input signals into plural blocks and reading signals by reducing input signal numbers to 1/group number, a fault detection circuit 10 reads information M1, M2,...Mn transmitting selection signals 01, 02,...0n to a multiple input circuit 5 regardless of the output direction of an arithmetic unit 2 and only when one output of any of the selection signals is executed, discriminating it as a normal input signal and sending the result AN to an interface 6. |
