The cylinder head has first and second sealing faces. Recesses (18,19) are placed in at least one of the first and second faces (3,12), to form secondary air channels. After mounting the cylinder head (1), the recesses are sealed by neighbouring parts (5,14) of the engine.Longitudinal recesses (18) in all second sealing faces (12), are covered by flanges (15) of the exhaust pipes (14). These act as distributor channel, and are in connection with a secondary air feed (17) in one flange, and channels (19,20), which are individually associated with the discharge channels (11). The additional channels are partially formed by recesses in the first sealing faces.
