A metallic framework, in particular for a metal-glass building façade or the like, has vertical upright members (1) and horizontal locking elements (2). Both upright members (1) and locking elements (2) have T-shaped cross-sections. The locking elements (2) have nose-shaped projections (9) designed in such a way that the end areas of the locking elements (2) lie flush everywhere with the upright members (1). The upright members (1) and the locking elements (2) may be joined by pins or screws (10, 11, 12) which are not or hardly visible from the front side of the framework. An extremely stable, light to mount and aesthetically neat connection between the locking elements (2) and the upright members (1) of the metallic framework is thus obtained. |
