<p>The fan arrangement comprises a drive motor driving a fan, the motor being fed with alternating voltage with constant frequency and having a torque/feed voltage characteristic which means that a small alteration of the feed voltage gives a large torque alteration. The fan arrangement has a characteristic which means that a small alteration of speed gives a large torque alteration. The combination of the drive motor and the fan arrangement has large spaced alterations with fluctuating feed voltage to the drive motor. - A capacitor is connected in series with the motor winding, so that the air flow produced by the fan arrangement is stabilised with regard to amplitude variations in the drive motor feed voltage. The drive motor is of the gap hole or screen pole type.</p> |
