<p>A propylene-graft-unsaturated polyester is disclosed comprising the reaction product of a polypropylene, an unsaturated polyester and a free radical initiator. The polypropylene-graft-unsaturated polyester is generally prepared by reacting at elevated temperatures using a peroxide. The polypropylene-graft-unsaturated polyester is very useful as a compatibilizing agent in blends of polyester and ethylene-propylene rubber to improve the impact strength of the polyester.</p> |
