A bit holder (1) which can be used for both bits (30), a mono-head bit (30a) and a double-head bit (30b). The bit holder (1) is provided with a shank (2) detachably attached to a screw driver, a holder body (3) provided at the front end portion of the shank (2) and having a bore (7) in which the mono-head driver bit (30a) or the double-head driver bit (30b) is removably fitted, a flat surface (10) provided in the inner portion of the bit-fitting bore (7) and contacting the rear end surface of the mono-head bit (30), and a support body (5) having a tapering bore (11) adapted to be fitted over a front head portion (31) of the double-head bit (30b). |
