<p>PURPOSE:To obtain resin particles useful as a dry-type toner by polymerization between fluorovinyl monomer(s) and nonfluorovinyl monomer(s) in a hydrophilic organic liquid in the presence of a polymer dispersant. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin particles can be obtained by polymerization, in a hydrophilic organic liquid (e.g. methyl alcohol) in the presence of a polymer dispersant soluble to the organic liquid (e.g. acrylic acid, (alpha-cyanoacrylic acid), between (A) at least one kind of fluorovinyl monomer (pref. bearing SO2 group) soluble to the organic liquid but hardly soluble or swellable in the organic liquid for the polymer therefrom and (B) at least one kind of nonfluorovinyl monomer (e.g. styrene, o-methylstyrene).</p> |
