PURPOSE:To surely prevent creep of the outer race of a bearing which is loose- fitted to a bearing box and provided with a preload spring in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rolling bearings 2a, 2b fitted to a shaft 1 are supported by bearing boxes 4a, 4b on both ends of a housing 3, the outer race of one bearing 2a is sandwiched by a bearing cover 5 so as to be fixed. A preload spring 6 in the axial direction is arranged on the end face of the outer race of the other bearing 2b loose-fitted to the bearing box 4b. An end cover 18 is fitted to the bearing box 4b of the other bearing 2b on the opposite side of the preload spring by screws 7 through an axial clearance (a). The recessed part 18a of the end cover 18 is pressed in the edge part of the outer race of the bearing 2b. |
