A movable slaughterhouse is designed as a single, preferably automotive vehicle (2) with a box body which contains a cold storage cell (3). In order to form a slaughtering and working chamber (14) having a larger inner height than the box body at one end of the vehicle (2), a roofing element (6) movably arranged on the vehicle (2) and whose inner side lies on a level higher than the level of the ceiling of the cold storage cell (3) may be secured in an overhanging position on the cold storage cell (3). A hinged bottom wall (5) swinging out from the lower part of the vehicle is designed as a kind of tub whose central base area (5b) lies on a level lower than the level of the bottom of the box body. In addition, movable sidewall elements (4) may be placed between the roofing element (6) and the bottom wall (5) in order to laterally close the slaughtering and working chamber (14). |
