PURPOSE:To provide a fixing device which can prevent overshoot from occurring without executing complicated control. CONSTITUTION:Until temperature detected by a thermistor 12 arrives at prescribed switching temperature lower than standby temperature immediately after a power source is turned on, a transistor 17 is turned off and a voltage is divided by resistances 14 and 15. Then, the temperature is controlled by using a temperature table corresponding to a voltage dividing value. On the other hand, after the detected temperature arrives at the switching temperature, the transistor 17 is turned on and the voltage is divided only by the resistance 14. Then, the temperature is controlled by using the temperature table corresponding to the voltage dividing value. |
