<p>PURPOSE:To make possible tension adjustment in the lateral direction of a magnetic tape without depending on a complicated mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The tape guide device is equipped with a cylindrical member 12 formed with a female screw 11 on its inner surface and a tension adjusting member 13 in a screw shape formed with a tapered surface 14a on its head part 14. By adjusting the depth of fitting the tension adjusting member 13 into the cylindrical member 12, a spreading-out amt. in a diameter of an upper part of the cylindrical member 12 is adjusted by the tapered surface 14a of the head part 14. By this method, a diameter of the cylindrical member 12 in a contact position with an upper end part of the magnetic tape 21 is adjusted, so that the tension in the lateral direction of the magnetic tape 21 is adjusted.</p> |
