PURPOSE:To achieve the small size of a motor and to attenuate a radiant noise by a method wherein the motor and a power driver are integrated, a power switching element for the power driver is mounted directly on the side face of a motor frame in which a cooling-water passage has been formed and the motor and the power driver are cooled simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A cooling-water passage 21 is formed in a motor frame 19, the required number of power switching elements 23 is mounted on a surface frame 2. A three-phase output lead wire 25 from a motor winding 18 is coupled directly to the power switching elements 23 at the shortest distance. Cooling water which flows into from a cooling-water intake port 29a simultaneously cools the temperature rise portion of the motor winding 18 and the generated heat portion of the power switching elements 23 while the cooling water flows in the cooling-water passage 21, and the cooling water then flows out from a cooling-water exit 29b. Thereby, a cooling part for a motor and a power driver is made common, the motor can be made small and a radiant noise can be attenuated because the three-phase output lead wire from the motor is not wired outside. |
