Circuit supports have previously been known as a component of apparatuses having a housing, the rear wall of the housing consisting of plastic and the circuit support producing a current-carrying connection between at least two printed-circuit boards in the housing. Furthermore, methods for producing three-dimensional printed-circuit boards are known. On this basis, it is intended to produce a one-piece circuit support as an integral component of the apparatus housing which not only carries out the function of producing a current-carrying connection between the said printed-circuit boards but can also assume the task of retaining the printed-circuit boards, i.e. assume mechanical functions. This is achieved by the rear wall (1) of the housing consisting of plastic and being designed as a circuit support with current-carrying tracks (2) and areas (3) metallised on its surface and projecting means of connection (4) being injection moulded on the inner side of the rear wall (1). The means of connection are themselves metallised and are connected to one another in a current-carrying manner by the tracks (2) and/or areas (3). The printed-circuit boards (5) can be electrically connected to the means of connection (4) by means of plug connectors. Such circuit supports can be used in automation apparatuses. <IMAGE>
