The cap (1) has a dosing chamber (5) adjacent to its outlet (9) and a slider (2), spring-loaded by means of an elastic vane (7) and equipped with two shutters, one on each side of the chamber. The outer shutter has an aperture in it which aligns with the cap's outlet when the slider is pushed in, and at the same time the inner shutter closes the chamber on the opposite side.The inner shutter is equipped with a stop to limit the outward movement of the slider. The powdered or granulated material in the container (3) is dispensed by inverting the container, which fills the dosing chamber (5), and then pushing the slider in, which opens the chamber's lower end to release the dose inside it, and at the same time closing its upper end to prevent it from filling again until the slider is released.
