PURPOSE:To restore to the 4WS condition as far as no abnormal condition is generated to a cable and the like, even though the tension is lost instantly to a feedback cable owing to the operation delay of a power cylinder for rear wheel steering, in a sudden steering or a sudder cutback of steering. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 27 for winding rotatable on a feedback shaft 23, and a plate 41 for transmission fixed on the feedback shaft 23 neighboring the pulley 27 are combined allowable to rotate and displace, they are energized reversely in the winding direction by a fault detection expediting spring 43, and they are combined integrally in the normal condition. The plate 41 for transmission is energized in the cable winding direction by a return spring 29. A movable member 50 movable in the axial direction, and to turn on and off a switch 15 for fault detecting, when the pulley 27 for winding and the plate 41 for transmission are rotated and displaced relatively in case of generating a fault to a cable 4 and a return spring 29, is provided. A projection 52 for fault detecting is projected to the movable member 50, and a bevel form engaging cam 53a is projected to the end face of the pulley 27 for winding where the tip of the projection 52 is abutted. |
