<p>PURPOSE: To avoid excessively high resolution for an automatic range measuring apparatus so as to prevent complication of a read value of a display by restricting the display resolution. CONSTITUTION: An electric signal is taken in by means of an input circuit and an A/D converter 14, and its measurement value is converted into a digital data. On the basis of the digital data, a microprocessor 16 selects a proper measurement range setting from a plurality of measurement range settings. When a push button 20 is pressed, range restricting information is fed to the microprocessor 16, and selectable measurement range settings are restricted. Only the measurement value corresponding to this restriction is indicated in a display device 22.</p> |
