PURPOSE:To eliminate and prevent a phenomenon that a lead wire is damaged and that dust particles adhere to the lead wire in a characteristic inspection process and to accurately bend the lead wire up to its final bend position. CONSTITUTION:In a process in which lead wires 101, 102 protruding from a chip-shaped electrolytic capacitor 10 are bent to the peripheral edge of a resin outer package case 110, excess parts 101c, 102c are formed in the lead wires 101, 102 in advance, contact makers P1, P2 are pressed to the excess parts 101c, 102c, an electric characteristic is inspected, the excess parts 101c, 102c are cut and removed, and, after that, the lead wires 101, 102 are bent up to their final bend positions. When the lead wires 101, 102 are bent, they are guided up to their final bend positions by a guide jig. |
