<p>PURPOSE:To solve crosstalk phenomenon that is a significant display quality problem without changing an on-going process by applying modulation to correct the potential fluctuation of a common electrode to a counter substrate that is the common electrode. CONSTITUTION:When a gate electrode is formed, an electrode line with, for example, the same metal as that of a gate is formed, for example, at the uppermost stage of gate lines B1-Bm, and the electrode is set as a sensing electrode 1. Since the sensing electrode 1 is capacity-coupled with all the source lines A1-An, a signal appearing on the electrode monitors fluctuation on a counter electrode due to the change of the source lines A1-An as it is. The potential fluctuation of the counter electrode can be cancelled by inverting a waveform taken out by the sensing electrode 1 by an inverter, generating a correction voltage Vc' via a buffer, and applying it to the counter electrode.</p> |
