<p>PURPOSE:To enable even a person who does not know the kinds of network equipments to easily generate a network constitution diagram by sequentially selecting patterns representing the equipment from a figure menu and editing the combination of the selected patterns as a network constitution diagram. CONSTITUTION:The figure menu 302 is generated by using a network equipment figure information file 4 containing information on the patterns representing various equipments used when the network equipment constitution diagram is generated and displayed on a display screen. An operator selects, for example, the pattern of a work station 303 constituting the network equipment constitution diagram from the figure menu 302 through an interactive terminal. Thus, the patterns of the equipments required to constitute the network equipment constitution diagram are selected from the figure menu 302 through the interactive terminal to prepare the network equipment constitution diagram 308. The generated network equipment constitution diagram 308 is stored in a file 8 through completing operation preparation operation on the interactive terminal.</p> |
