摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an electronic equipment to be well ventilated through a vent hole even if the electronic equipment is installed with its rear side in close contact with the wall of an installation site by a method wherein a groove whose one end communicates with outside air is provided to the rear side of the equipment, and a vent hole is formed inside the groove. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal groove 5 which is U-shaped in cross section and open at both the sides of an equipment is provided to the vertical intermediate part of a rear cover 4 which covers the rear side of the equipment. An exhaust vent 6 and an intake vent 6 functioning as ventilating holes are provided to the base of the groove 5. Both the exhaust vent 6 and the intake vent 6 communicate with the inside of the equipment main body 1, and a fan is mounted on the inside of the exhaust vent 6. By this constitution, heat accumulated inside the equipment main body 1 is forcibly discharged out through the exhaust vent 6 by the fan mounted at the exhaust vent 6, and outside fresh air is introduced into the equipment main body 1 through the intake vent 7 replacing hot air, whereby the equipment main body 1 can be prevented from rising in temperature.
