PURPOSE:To maintain the redundancy of display even when an electrode is disconnected where 4 intersections = one picture element. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of electrodes 2 each are juxtaposed on two sheets of substrates 1 in stripe-like form, and when the substrates 1 are provided in opposite to each other, an intersection 3 in which the electrodes are crossing each other makes one picture element 4. Adjacent two pieces of the electrodes 2 make one pair and simultaneously are driven and also four pieces of the intersections 3 in which the electrodes are crossing each other make one picture element. |
