PRESSURE MEASUREMENT TRANSDUCER

A Pressure measurement transducer has a disk-shaped pressure sensor component connected to a pressure supplying body. The pressure sensor component is outwardly surrounded by a cap-like component, in such a way that the bottom of the latter lies above the side of the pressure sensor component opposite to the pressure supplying body. The pressure supplying body is further coupled by a separation membrane to a pressure transmitting part. In order to produce such a pressure measurement transducer at a relatively low cost, the pressure sensor component is a mass produced pressure sensor (11) with a base (12) of the usual type for semiconductor components. The base (12) puts the pressure sensor (11) in contact with the bottom (26) of the cap-like component (9) through an intermediate cast resin filling (27). The bottom (26) of the cap-like component (9) has individual openings (23 to 25) for the connection wires (13) and the low-pressure side connection pipe (14). The cap-like component (9) is soldered to the pressure transmitting part (29).
