An array of superconducting bolometers (14), assembled with a superposed interference layer of graduated thickness (16), provides a microelectronic detector assembly that discriminates radiation impinging thereon, as a function of wavelength, and that can be used for transform spectroscopy, color-imaging, and the like. The interference coating (16) will preferably be of step-like form, with each plateau (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) of the structure being of the same spatial extent as the bolometer (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d) with which it is associated. |
