The air diffusor consists of a housing (1) with an air intake (2) which has a filter (3) over it, and an inner duct (5) which carries the air to fans (8). These fans expel the air through a duct (10) with further filters (11) into a diffusion chamber (13) with a final set of filters (14). The ducts inside the housing are formed by two separating partitions (4,9) which have an acoustic insulating material (6) on their inner surfaces. One of the filters (11) is at the end of the air output duct, and the intake filter is in the end wall of the housing at an angle to the end of the intake duct. The fan housing (7) is lined with a noise-suppressing material, and has a grille and filters.
