<p>Microbicidal compositions having activity over a broad pH range are provided. The compositions comprise a peracid and a nonionic surfactant according to the general chemical formula: R-(OCH2CH2)n-(OCH2CH2CH3)p-O-R', wherein R represents an alkyl group of at least 6 carbon atoms, n and p each represent an integer, and R' represents a short alkyl group of less than 6 carbon atoms. The compositions can additionally comprise a cationic surfactant.</p> |
