The cross bore (6) formed on one of the two arms of the clamping member (2) is designed as a threaded bore from one long side of the clamping member. This extends up to the gap in one of the two arms formed by the split.A worm screw (7) runs in the threaded bore of one arm and spreads out the clamping member when its end side engages on the inside of the other arm. The worm screw can be an socket head screw completely counter sunk in the clamping member.
