PURPOSE:To provide an information processing apparatus having only a memory necessitated in minimum to store an ordinary operation sequence program, mounted within the main part of the apparatus, and capable of performing various sequence operations different from the ordinary sequence operation based on the forgoing program. CONSTITUTION:Driving information described in third storage means 303 mounted detachably on the outside of the main part of an apparatus via a cable 302 is described by a host computer in second storing means provided within the main part of the apparatus via the cable 302, whereby on the basis of the driving information, a driving member of the main body of the apparatus is drive-controlled by a printer controller. Accordingly, the operation member can be drive-controlled in accordance with various operation sequence programs different from the operation sequence programs stored in the host computer. |
