PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance, yellowish browning resistance, wet crease resistance, washing shrinkage resistance, level dyeing property, etc., of the silk fiber product by impregnating the silk fiber product with a phase transfer catalyst, drying the silk fiber product, saturating the silk fiber product with the polar protonic solvent solution of a polyfunctional epoxy compound, and subsequently thermally treating the silk fiber product. CONSTITUTION:A silk five satin weave grey good is scoured, bleached, dried, immersed in the aqueous solution of a phase transfer catalyst such as tetra-n- butylammonium bromide, squeezed with a mangle, dried, padded with the ethylene glycol solution of a polyfunctional epoxy compound such as glycerol diglycidyl ether, subjected to the removal of the solution under vacuum, thermally treated with steam, and finally subjected to an ordinary dyeing finishing treatment. |
