The package consists of a strip of a thin material, oblong in shape and placed with its central section (2"') under the fastened and its two sides (2', 2") folded inwards over the edges of the fabric (1) to which the fastener is joined.The packaging material is then attached to the fastener by a lengthwise seam (5, 5') on each side, with stitches passing through the two layers of the packaging material and the fabric strips of the fastener. The seams are made from a simple chain stitch for easy removal. One end of the packaging strip, which projects beyond the end of the fastener, can have a hole (4), with or without a side slit, for suspending it from a rod on a display unit.
