The system consists of a supporting frame for the cable drum (2), which can be moved vertically, and a drive (17) which can be connected directly to the end of the drum shaft.There is a measuring unit (40) for the cable, and the frame comprises a supporting structure with a lifter and a drive shaft regulator. The regulator comprises a bearing support with apertures for fixing pins and shaft bearings, while the drive is in the form of a hydraulic motor (19) fed by a hydraulic unit (18) on the frame. The lifting system can be in the form of a single jack.
