The subject matter of the invention is a freezer bottle for freezing of liquids, which freezer bottle comprises a vessel 1 and opening formed in the vessel that can be closed by means of a stopper 2. Current freezer bottles crack under freezer refrigeration if they are overfilled. In the freezer bottle according to the invention an expansion chamber 3 is formed in proximity to the opening, the outer edge 4 of which chamber is on a higher level than the bottom edge 5 of the opening. <IMAGE>
