摘要 <p>The collimator according to the invention makes it possible to check the distortion of objectives without using an orientation mechanism, which is tricky to operate, and without requiring calibration beforehand. The preferred embodiment is based on the use of a spherical collimation mirror (2) conjugate with a reference test-pattern (3), the mirror (2) and the test-pattern (3) being of .... around an exit pupil (5). A light source (4) illuminates the test-pattern (3) placed on an image surface of the mirror (2), this surface being coincident with the face of a support lens (6). The secondary light sources (S1, S2, S3) of the test-pattern (3) form beams (F1, F2, F3) which are collimated by reflection off the mirror (2) after reflection off a semi-reflecting plate (1). The collimated beams, the middle rays of which are normal to the curved surfaces of the test-pattern (3) and of the mirror (2) pass through the plate (1) and then emerge, distortion-free, via the pupil (5) located at the centre of curvature (0) of the mirror (2).
